Hi, there! I’m Liza (pronounced lie-zuh).
I’ve been involved in the nonprofit and public sectors for more than 15 years and currently have the best job: Volunteer Services Manager at Multnomah County Library, a public library system in Portland, Oregon. I’m part of an incredible team that welcomes over 2,000 community members as volunteers each year. I spend my days creating better access to volunteer experiences, connecting people with information, and digging into tech-y things like the volunteer database and digital communications. I also deliver training to volunteer-involving organizations like nonprofits, libraries, and social service agencies.
Outside of work, I can be found knitting, reading, exploring, and volunteering in my community. I’m proud to be an AmeriCorps alum and Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA). Learn more about me.
